WHAT ARE ABUNDANT LIFE CLASSES?
It is obvious that the Lord wants us to experience life to the fullest. Experiencing "abundant life" is a growing process and the result of devoting ourselves to following the Lord Jesus Christ and His will for our lives. Our Abundant Life Classes are a "starting point" in this process of growth. We encourage newcomers to participate in these classes in order to develop a firm foundation for their spiritual journey. Every journey begins with the first step. Our Father has a wonderful plan for each of our lives. We trust these classes will be a blessing to you and be of use of the Lord to build you up in your faith! WHAT CLASSES ARE OFFERED? GETTING ON THE TEAM This class provides an introduction to NLBC: our origins, our vision, and what we understand as our basic biblical beliefs. It clarifies how we get on God's team in the first place, how to become a member of NLBC, and the importance of functioning together as a church family. TRAINING FOR THE TEAM This class covers four practices of discipleship that are basic habits all Christians should develop in order to experience the abundant life Jesus offers. PLAYING ON THE TEAM This class is designed to help you find fulfillment in life by learning how to serve others in a way that fits with how God has uniquely created you. ENLISTING OTHERS FOR THE TEAM This class contains valuable insight into how to effectively communicate your faith with your friends and with those whose lives we touch. It provides encouragement and direction toward relational evangelism. HOW AND WHEN ARE CLASSES CONDUCTED? Classes are conducted in a group setting. Each participant is given a class appropriate workbook and lessons are presented using powerpoint. Classes are offered according to a published schedule. Childcare may be arranged. Refreshments are also a part of each class time. HOW DO I SIGN UP? Simply call (717) 938-4626 or  the church office to find out dates and times of the next scheduled class or classes.
